PURPOSE:To reduce fatigue of phtoreceptor by controlling time lengths of changing, exposure, transfer, etc. in accordance with copy size. CONSTITUTION:When the pulse count values are memorized indicating the timing of charging, exposure, and transfer corresponding to copy sizes e.g. in read-only memory ROM 3 as shown in table I, the size of the paper to be copied on in accordance with the original to be copied is appointed with switch 10, and start instruction is made by depressing switch 11, resulting in transporting the paper with the appointed size and conducting each step of copying of charging, exposure, transfer, etc. for the time corresponding to the appointed size. Controlling copy cycle time permits fatigue of photoreceptor to be reduced. |
