摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of gas-liquid contact in a vapor-liquid contact equipment, the barrier is made higher by 1.2 times at the position close to the internal wall than at the center, thereby equalizing liquid flow from the barrier center and both edges, in spite of the vibration or inclination of the equipment. CONSTITUTION:Barrier 21 is installed to the plate 12 in the refining tower body 11. The barrier 21 consists of flat plate with main center portion 21a and the edge auxiliary portions 21b close to the internal wall of the refinery tower body 11. The edge portions 21b are mede 1.2 times as high as the main portion 21b. This results in structure to provide equal liquid overflow per nuit length from both center and auxiliary barriers, even when the tower is vibrated or inclined. Further, flowing liquid stays on the plate for longer periods, with every portion of liquid being stayed for nearly equal period, thus enhancing refining efficiency.</p>
