PURPOSE:To manufacture an armature coil of small axial length, by embedding windings in adhesive sheets and stacking the sheets on a yoke plate so that the sheets are located at different phases and by thermally fixing the sheets on each other under pressure. CONSTITUTION:A conductor wire 1 is concentrically wound to make a thin coil 31. A number of such coils, which corresponds to that of poles of a rotor or the like, are embedded in the adhesive sheets 32 such as prepreg sheets and fixed thereto. A number of such coil-embedded sheets, which corresponds to that of phases, are stacked on the yoke plate 42 and thermally fixed to each other under pressure. A printed end plate 43 is attached to the fixed sheets, thereby making the armature coil of small axial length. This enables manufacturing a motor which has no slots and brushes and whose flatness is high. |
