PURPOSE:After yarn break, the supply is immediately stopped and all the operations until restart of the sliver running including cleaning of the air nozzle and shifting of the rnotter are automatically done, whereby the loss of the sliver is reduced and the operations can be restarted without clogging the air nozzle and impairing the machine. CONSTITUTION:The yarn-break detector catches yarn break and stops the supply of sliver S. Then package 10 is taken out of winding roller 9, air nozzle is cleaned and carriage 18 with knotter is stopped at the prescribed position of the yarn-break spindle. Both yarn ends from the package and the spun yarn formed by restart of the yarn supply are introduced in the rnotter and the yarn ending is done while the spinning is continued. After it is confirmed that the yarn ending given a normal yarn and the winding is restarted. The carriage 15 is moved. |
