1528481 Two-part couplings AMERACE CORP 29 Aug 1975 [6 Sept 1974] 35803/75 Heading H2E An electrical contact, for example for bridging concentric electrical conductors 22, 25, is formed by a resilient conductive strip member (10) from which fingers (16) are displaced. The fingers are formed at their extremities 16c with surfaces 16g which in an unflexed state of the fingers take up the configuration shown in Fig. 6(a) but a flexure of the fingers against conductor 22 take up a second configuration, complementary to the surface of conductor 22, as shown in Fig. 6(b). The fingers have a greater reach on one side of the strip member than the other, see Specification 1,528,482. The contact can be of beryllium copper alloy or of a copper-beryllium laminate, see Fig. 7 (not shown). |
