PURPOSE:To positively connect a seat belt when impacts, by mounting an inertial device, which senses sudden impacts and functions, to a latch portion. CONSTITUTION:A lever support base 50 is screwed to a base 41' of a latch portion 4, and a lever 55 is installed to a projecting portion 58 of the base 50 in a tilt- possible shape by means of a pin 52. A pendulum hanging lever 51 is pierced into a hole 50a of the base 50, a pendulum 53 is mounted to the nose and a semispherical head portion 56 of the lever 55 is placed on an upper flat head portion 51' of the lever 50. Thus, the lever 55 tilts centering around the pin 52 when the pendulum 53 oscillates by impacts or acceleration, deceleration, etc., and a lever nose 57 enters into a notch 41c of a housing 41 of the latch portion 4 and connects to a tooth 21d of a base tank 21. |
