PURPOSE:To exactly judge the molding propriety and molded article properties by providing a device for measuring time for moving a screw at predetermined distance at a plastic injection molding machine and comparing the time with standard value. CONSTITUTION:A plastic injection molding machine incorporating a screw 9 forwarding within an injection cylinder 5 communicating with a mold to fill plastic into the mold having stationary and movable molds 1 and 3 consists of a time measuring unit 20 for measuring the time when the injection pressure reaches predetermined level to the time when the screw moves at predetermined distance, time duration setting potentiometers 33, 34, 35 and 36 for setting the measuring upper and lower limit times, and an output unit 53 for producing an improper molding signal when the time measured by the above unit 20 exceeds the time duration set by the time duration setting potentiometers to thereby exactly detect the improperly molded article. |
