Box forming and closing machine - has supply conveyor, U=shaped forming tool and box closing elements with swivel devices

Installation forms folding boxes from carton or similar semi-stiff material and subsequent closes one end of each box. A feed conveyor has a stack of boxes with their ends to be closed pointing in the same direction. The stack of cartons is placed above a forming tool of 'U'-shaped cross-section which is open at both its ends, one of which is used for the supply of a box formed by a forming and a closing process. The box closing elements are located close to the other end of the forming tool which include devices to swivel the end surface (4) and to insert the strip connected with it (7) inside the housing (2).
