The loading and safety control is for liquid containers esp. vehicle tankers. The control can accommodate the different level sensors(5) currently employed such as ultrasonic, pneumatic, opto-electronic etc. The control system allows faults to be isolated and corrected quickly with visual warnings connected into the circuitry. The differing sensor characteristics are analysed once the liquid reaches them and checks the settings of the various controls, valves(V1, V2) etc. switching off the pumps (P) once the maximum level has been reached or the controls can be set manually by inserting a sensor identification in the form of a magnetic or perforated card. The electrical or electronic selector switches in the circuitry applicable to the sensor being used. The loading circuit can handle a number of outlets simultaneously independently of each other whatever type of sensor is being used.
