1515166 Polyamide films BASF AG 17 Oct 1975 [25 Oct 1974] 42648/75 Heading C3R A film comprises a hexamethylene diamine adipate homo- or co-polymer (P) and 0À01-2% wt. of an ester (E) of a C4-10 aliphatic or cycloaliphatic alcohol (A) with an organic carboxylic or sulphonic acid (B). (A) may be 2-ethylhexanol and (B) may be adipic or p-hydroxybenzoic acid. (P) may comprise residual monomers and oligomers. (E) prevents formation on film-manufacture rollers of deposits of components of (P), thus preventing non-uniformity of the film. |
