<p>The source illumination is constantly moving as a function of the musical rhythm and also of a melody, instrumental or vocal. Light is emitted from a lamp within a parabolic reflector positioned at each end of a series of translucent tubes placed side by side within an overall frame. Each reflector has an inward pointing annular shoulder over which the tubes fit. The bulbs at each end are of different colours as are the colours of the adjacent tubes. Modulation of the individual lamps also provides for variable intensity according to the general sound level. The control circuit fed from the microphone consists of an amplifier, filters and triac switching to the lamps.</p> |
