<p>There are two sets of cable pulleys on the excavator. The first has one pulley at the front end of the swivel arm (14), and another (91) on the jib arm (11), away from the swivel axis (10a). One cable (98) is attached to the grab (30) suspension frame (93), passes over these pulleys, and engages a point on the excavator frame (10), the other end being connected to frame or jib arm. The second set has a third pulley coaxial with the first, and fourth on the end of a cylinder (20) engaging the swivel arm, while fifth and sixth are mounted on swivel arm and jib arm. A second cable (99), linked to grab-operating mechanism (95), passes over these again engaging the frame and linked to frame or jib arm.</p> |
