The selected tones are conducted to series-coupled stages by pedal positions. to each lower pedal position are associated two upper positions, one representing the second harmonic, and the other one the third harmonic of the lower pedal position tone. No natural tone generators are provided for the lower pedal position register. When a key for one of the lowest tones of this register is actuated, an addition of tone signals of both harmonics is supplied to the series coupled stages. For higher tones of the lower register, for which tone generators are available, both the generator output signal and the added harmonics tone signals are supplied to the series-coupled stages.
