Connector for window or door actuating rod - has countersunk hole with slots to receive mating plug rotated by slotted tool

The actuator for a window or door lock has end pieces joined by mating a hole and a projecting connector for overlapping ends. The hole (3) is not circular, the connecting element being a coupling ring (8) held in the hole so that it is able to rotate. The coupling head of this plug is fitted to the cross section of the non circular hole (3). This hole is a countersunk hole with two diametrically opposite radial slots (4, 5). The coupling plug has, on its underside, a conical part matching the countersunk hole and clamping wings (9, 10.). The coupling is completed by using a tool with a slotted end.
