The system for bridging rails, is esp. for a suspension track for a passanger conveyance, with track supports arranged in a row with expansion joints and fitted with running tracks for support wheels and/or guide rollers, expansion joints being bridged by triangular filler pieces inserted in the running tracks, held against sloping surfaces in the latter. Form-locking guiding media are sited between the triangular filler piece (6) and the ends of the main track supports, guiding the piece parallel to the sloping surfaces (7, 9). These can be in the form of bolts (10) on the ends of track supports (1, 2) protruding into guide slots (11) in the fillers parallel to the slopes. This ensures that the filler is drawn into the increasing joint gap at lower temps.
