<p>The equipment fixes items, partic. washbasins, sanitary fittings etc., to a screw protruding from a wall through a hole in the item, the item being secured by a nut. A flanged sleeve (5) fits over the screw (3), its flange (5a) bearing against the face (1b) of the item (1) nearest the wall. This has a smooth bore, and an external thread at the other end accommodating a screw cap (6) bearing against the other face (1c) of the item. The cap has a tapering mouth widening (6a) towards the forward end and accommodating a tapering clamping sleeve (7) with an inner cylindrical face gripping the screw. A capnut (8) screws onto the external thread of the cap to secure the sleeve in position.</p> |
