The locking connection is used for detachable connection of housing parts of lighting fittings. The closing arrangement has spring arm with a hook shoulder for housing part. The locking element is readily fastened on the walls of the housing and the swivelling part of the housing also rests on the shoulder of the lock. The U shaped carrier (65) is formed for fastening on a flat housing part (12) on the side facing away from the spring arm (61). The handle formed at the end of the spring arm (61) is situated on the same side of the carrier (65) as the spring arm (61). Each arm (651) of the carrier (65) acts as connector with a lateral projecting flat edge for insertion into a pocket (121) of the other housing part (12).
