<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a purifying apparatus capable of always performing stable purification by connecting a plurality of separated chambers with openings in order; setting an aeration pipe in each of the chambers; and successively increasing the vol. of air fed from the pipe per unit vol. of sewage to prevent short circuit of sewage. CONSTITUTION:Sewage from introduction pipe 7 flows round in separated chamber 2 and is fed to aeration chamber 3 through chambers 2a, 2b, 2c in order while being aerated and gradually sedimentation-separating solid matter. Chambers 2a, 2b, 2c become smaller in this order, and the vol. of air blown is almost constant, so sedimentation of the largest amt. of solid matter occurs in chamber 2a. The vol. of air per unit vol. of sewage is successively increased, and aeration of sewage proceeds to avoid such a situation that aerobic bacteria in chamber 3 are destroyed by sudden inflow of BON high concn. sewage, thereby temporarily lowering the purification power (short circuit of sewage).</p> |
