PURPOSE:To provide a hydraulic energy storage apparatus, wherein one of lines connected to a pump is connected to a variable pump motor through a change-over valve of the 3-position-4-port type, and a rotation shaft of the pump motor is connected to a fly-wheel through a clutch thus to prevent lowering of its efficiency. CONSTITUTION:By operating a change-over valve 13 of the 3-position-4-port type which actuates an actuator 23 having a large capacity using a small pump 24, the fluid discharged from the pump 24 is stored in a fly-wheel 16 as a rotational energy, which if necessary will be used as driving source for a variable pump motor 14 and can supply a desired flow rate to a main actuator 14 by adjusting the discharge amount of a variable pump motor 14 and by operationg the change-over valve 13 to actuate the main actuator 23. |
