The planing board is guided by rails or running-wheels, and has an eccentric drive unit effective across its length in the working direction. The concave end face of the board cross over via a cutting edge at the base into a bottom surface bounding a trough-shaped section. - The board has a distributor bar (5) followed by a smoothing bar (4). These are connected to each other and to a hollow profile carrier (23) aligned along their length with guide handles (2) fastened to its ends. Heat-insulating inlasy pref. of asbestos cement, may be interposed.
