PURPOSE:To prevent the supply of error information by making difference color characteristics showing the relation between a detection signal level and display color by dividing a display screen into several regions and then by performing unicolor display when both detection information level are equal. CONSTITUTION:Transmission part 11 of the detector for a group of fish radiates ultrasonic pulses toward sea bottom 3 and receives its reflected wave and detection information is read out from main memory 81 via lines (l1), (l2)... and then converted by color converter 177 into a color signal corresponding to the level before being displayed on rastor scanning color display unit 82. To display fish-group detection information and detection information from a net monitor in different regions of the display screen, color characteristics of both the display regions, even if both the pieces of detection information differ in reception sensitivity, are adequately made different. As a result, when both the pieces of detection information are equal in level, the both can be displayed in the same color and no error information is supplied to an observer. |
