<p>VERTICAL CENTRIFUGE HAVING PRE-LOADED BEARING A vertical centrifuge has a minor portion of the rotorconveyor bearing resiliently and asymmetrically biased against a remaining portion of the bearing connected to the centrifuge conveyor. The bearing effectively damps the centrifuge rotorconveyor assembly so the assembly does not approach resonant frequency during operation. The hearing is dry and does not require lubrication.</p> |
