<p>Aqueous wetting and film forming compositions are provided which comprise a water soluble fluorinated surfactant, a nonionic fluorinated synergist, an ionic non-fluorochemical surfactant, a nonionic non-fluorochemical surfactant, an electrolyte. and a solvent. This composition is a concentrate which when diluted with water spreads on fuel surfaces suppressing vaporization. Because of this property the aqueous solutions of the above compositions are effective as agents for fire fighting.</p> |
