<p>A tappet-shedding motion having a single camshaft with several bushes, on each of which is fixed a number of tappets, each bush being driven at a different speed corresponding to the requirements of the lifting pattern. The device combines the advantages of dobby and tappet shedding, permitting large weave repeats with a sensitice and gentle but reliable tappet action, which is also less costly than a large-capacity dobby mechanism.</p> |
