<p>PURPOSE:To enable to make the capacity of common power source small, by connecting the motor for driving upper and lower rolling mill with the common power source and constituting so as to enable to control each velocity independently. CONSTITUTION:On occasion of connecting the motor 6, 7 for driving the upper and lower operation roll 1, 2 with the common power source 8, direct current variable voltage is given to the motor 6, 7 from the source 8. On this occasion, the motor 6 for driving the roll 1 is operated as motor and the motor 7 for driving the roll 2 is operated as damping generator, by rotating the upper operation roll 1 at high speed and rotating the lower operation roll 2 at low speed. By the above reason, capacity of the source 8 is made shift with a small capacity, because the above capacity is possessed the capacity of the difference of load of the motor 6 and 7 enough at normal rolling condition. Of course, electric power necessary for adjustable speed is kept at rated overload only for the hours of adjustable speed at the adjustable speed time.</p> |
