PURPOSE:A center nipple of elastic material that is bendable and tapered to a point is fitted on the bottom end of the guide leg. thus simplifying the adjustment of positioning the bobbin rail in doffing and new bobbin setting. CONSTITUTION:Center nipple 7 of elastic material that is bendable and tapered to a point is fitted on the bottom end of guide leg 2. After full bobbin, bobbin rail 4 comes down until the end of center nipple 7 connects with the top of bobbin 6 and the doffing is operated. Then, at the same position a new bobbin is set, then the bobbin rail is raised to the original position and roving starts. After doffing, the empty bobbin is fixed by the end of center nipple 7, therefore the fine adjustment of positioning the bobbin rail can be skipped for setting a new bobbin. |
