PRODUCING METHOD OF AUSTENITE AND FERRITE TWO PHASE STAINLESS STEEL PLATE

PURPOSE:To provide two phase stainless steel having superior corrosion resistance or the like by coating a cast ingot or cast slab of austenite and ferrite two phase stainless steel by a steel plate having preferable hot working properties to thereby facilitate readily blooming and hot rolling processes. CONSTITUTION:Cast ingot or material to be rolled at one side of austenite and ferrite two phase stainless steel is coated by a steel plate having preferable hot working properties such as soft steel containing low carbon or nitrogn content, and forged together with an outer layer steel plate to thereby obtain an austenite and ferrite two phase stainless steel plate. Thus, it can reduce the occurrence of cracks caused by the stress concentration in the boundary between the austenite and the ferrite feasibly occurred during the forging work due to the breakage of the casting construction.
