The device for securing an aerial (2) to the roof of a car without a drain channel comprises a body of thin resilient material such as semi-rigid plastics. The plastics body comprises a central zone (1) contoured to the car surface and to which the lower end of the aerial is secured. A flange (6) is formed at one end of the zone (1). A double fold (8) and an extension (7) contoured to the car body are formed at the other end of the zone (1). The limb is formed with a hole through which a screw (4) is secured into the car body to hold the device in position. This device allows attachment to parts of the car body which suffer less from rust and the like.
