<p>A pharmaceutical composition comprises as active principle one or more compounds of the general formula (I): <IMAGE> wherein R<1> is halogen, lower alkyl or lower alkoxy; n is an integer from 0 to 3; X is oxygen or sulphur; and R<2> is a linear, branched of cyclic alkyl or alkenyl of from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, atoms, together with a pharmaceutically suitable carrier, the composition being formulated for use in the treatment of gastric hyperacidity, acuted or chronic gastritis, a gastric or duodenal ulcer, duodenitis, a peptic ulcer of the oesophagus, neurogenic gastropathy, entiritus, colitis or other disorder and being in general formulated for therapeutic treatment of peptic ulcers.</p> |
