<p>The stabilising weight (2) for the front of a tractor is fitted to a special frame (1) which is slugn under the machine between the wheels and which extends to the rear of the vehicle. The frame is held in sliding mountings so that the weight can be moved forwards by servo rams of added effect. The rear of the frame is linked to hydraulic rams, with a control valve on the dashboard. The driver can adjust the effect of the weight without having to leave the driving position.</p> |
