The points are for switching the tracks of model railways and have an adjustable central point coupled mechanically with the moving rails. They are operated by a lever moved against a spring (19) which holds it in its extreme positions. The operation of the points moves a pivoting double lever, with one arm forming a leaf spring engaging in a slide on which the rails are fixed. The other arm has a thicker extremity engaging in one extremity of a pivoting lever, the other extremity of which has an opening in which a leaf spring joined to the central point, engages.
