PURPOSE:To enable to detect failure in the tone signal generator surely with a simple constitution, by the frequency division operation of the variable frequency division circuit at all times independently of the presence of the designation output from the information input section. CONSTITUTION:The code conversion control circuit CC converts the designation output of the information input section II to the control input of the variable frequency division circuit VD and detects the designation output of the information input section II and produces the control input with the frequency division ratio producing the frequency division output of higher frequency than that of the tone signal when the output is absent. At the input side of the filter FL picking up the fundamental component from the output of the variable frequency division circuit VD, the pulse generator PG producing the pulse in longer period than that at the minimum frequency of tone signal is connected. The continuous output is normally produced as the monitor output S with the drive by the frequency division output, and the absence of the monitor output S is used as the failure production information. |
