PURPOSE:To easily manufacture a lens for thick film optical transmission path by working a transparent medium of a sectional shape which is circular in a plane direction to parallel flat plates, buying the same into a transparent medium of different refractive indexes to make the entire part as a thick film and forming clad layers to the top and bottom. CONSTITUTION:Light 2 entering a core layer 12 from an optical fiber 1 propagates while spreading in a plane direction, and is converted to the parallel rays only in the plane direction by a combination lens 5. Next, the light 2 enters a filter 8, through which the light 15 of a 800nm band advances rectilinear and by which the light 16 of a 1,300nm band is reflected. The light 15 which has been divided to every wavelength by a diffraction grating 9 is condensed by a circular lens 6 and the condensed light is entered respectively to an optical fiber bundle 3. The light 16 is entered by every wavelength to an optical fiber bundle 4 via a diffraction grating 10 and a circular lens 7. The combination lens 5 and the circular lenses 6, 7 are manufactured by cutting the materials worked to a cylindrical lens shape to several tens mum thickness and optically polishing both surfaces. Their volume production is easy. With such constitution, the lens for thick film optical transmission path is easily manufactured. |
