Insulating window parapet construction - has anchored profile bar with low heat conductive filling between itself and gripping anchor

The profile rail-shaped bar serves as support for heating units, window sills and other fittings when anchored to a window parapet, without cold bridge formation. Use is made of two types of two complementary members. One is in the form of an anchor (19) attachable in the area of the window parapet walling, displaceable lengthways against the line of the profile bar (4). The other is the bar itself. One of the two has shanks bent over to grip the other. The intervening space is filled with integral foam, or other material with low heat conductivity, firmly connected to one member. This provides effective heat and sound insulation with various types of parapet construction and heating units.
