The structure of a disposable baby's bib has a basic material of a tear resistant but absorbent paper or similar material, with differing characteristics which are bonded together in different sizes to give a layered item. The bib is made of cheap materials, and is disposed after one use. The surface of the bib holds any fluids, to prevent them dribbling down, with one of the bib layers being sufficiently absorbent to retain the fluids without allowing them to pass through and stain the baby's clothing. There can be an insulating layer as part of the bib, in the zone where heaviest soiling is anticipated.
|
