The valve has an inlet and outlet connections, and a cylindrical bore in which a control piston can axially move. It controls the clear cross-section of a connection between the inlet to the outlet. The piston has two surfaces to which the pressure is applied. One of the pressures is collected in advance of and the other behind the measurement throttle. The piston has a small diameter central spindle which connects the two end bushes, which have different surface areas.
