<p>The filter is esp. designed to eliminate fatty or oily particles from a gas flow, especially for kitchen ventilation. A large number of rods (3) almost parallel to each other are positioned distributed over almost the whole section of the gas flow forming the kitchen exhaust. The rods are positioned in rows transverse to the flow direction with the rods of one row being offset relative to those of another, preferably adjoining row with the offset intended to fill the gaps between rows. The side distancebetween the rods of one row exceeds the width of one single rod by a maximum of twice and preferably corresponds to the width of a single rod.</p> |
