<p>A characteristic mark is applied on the object to be identified or located, and a reading device with a sender/receiver is in contact with it by electromagnetic waves. The reading device oscillator frequency is periodically varied by a central clock pulse generator. It interrogates the mark and evaluates the received signal. The oscillator with a receiver converter is connected through a circulator with a sender/receiver aerial. An IF produced in the converter from the oscillator frequency and received signal is applied to filters connected in parallel and evaluated after rectification by a digital evaluation device.</p> |
