A manually movable fruit stoning tool (4) and a counter-holder (20) arranged at the end of an insertion groove (8) and receiving the fruit to be stoned are supported on a lid (5) which forms the closure of a collecting vessel (2) to receive the fruit stones. The collecting vessel (2), whose lid (5) is releasable, forms the base of the device for stoning the fruit. By pressing the fruit stoning tool (4) down towards the counter-holder (20), the stone is pushed into the collecting vessel and the stoned fruit is carried along when the fruit stoning tool (4) is raised and delivered to an outlet (17). <IMAGE>
