PURPOSE:To increase the reading accuracy as well as to secure a high-speed recognition for the characters by giving the self-detection function to the pen itself for the segment direction. CONSTITUTION:Plural units of light diffuser 13 one end of which points to the object face the information to be written in are arranged in parallel with the fixed space around core 12 forming pen 1. Furthermore, photoelectric conversion device 14 is provided at the other end face of each light diffuser 13. Thus the information written in by core 12 is detected optically via the photoelectric conversion element. |
