A heated panel for the building industry has a flat heating element inside; the panel is in two parts, at least that with the surface to be heated is made in electrically insulating glass-reinforced cement and in the shape of a tray, on the inner face of the tray part the heating element lies in a stoved varnish surface layer. Effective, has uniform temp. distribution over its surface, made of high strength materials and therefore has minimal weight for ease of handling, easily produced, suitable for e.g. steps, floors, etc.
