The core mounting is for the production of perforated bricks having in the path of the material a large number of bar type core brackets supported in a core holder. On these cores are mounted in the downstream direction. For each row of holes running in the lengthwise direction of the brackets (18) a separate bracket is provided, the cores (11) being mounted in line with its extension in the flow direction (10). The brackets can be flat iron strips, whose wide surface is parallel to the flow direction.
