The hydraulic piston motor comprises a housing contg. a concentric rotor with seals radially reciprocated by engagement with eccentrically rotating coupling elements on the eccentric shaft. The housing contains a part-circumferential high-pressure chamber on one side and low-pressure chamber on the other side of the rotor. The sealing members consist of a radially slidable shoe which itself contains a radially slidable sealing strip. The high pressure acts on the side of these strips thus producing a torque which is transmitted to the shaft via the coupling elements.
