PURPOSE:To make the filling work smoothly operable for active material of elaborate and uniform quality, by such means that, with an active material induction tube inserted into a clad tube, the action of vacuum suction be applied to the above described active material induction tube bottom portion to make the active material deposited and filled in the lower end of said clad tube. CONSTITUTION:A vessel 1 comprises a main unit 1a, an open-close operable cover 1b and an exhaust conduction tube 2, connected t a vacuum pump and provided at both side walls, with an opening made within an internal air space 8. To the bottom of the vessel 1 interior, is installed a core metal grid 4, with its core metal 4a connected by a base bar 4b, and to the basic portion of the core metal 4a is engaged a clad tube 5. Subsequently, from an insertion hole 7 at the top face of the vessel 1 is inserted an active material induction tube 6 and engaged to within the clad tube 5, with its lower end 6a placed in a condition with a slight amount of gap 8 spaced from the metal core bottom end. And then with a vacuum pump operated and the interior of the vessel 1 vacuumized, a vacuum suction is processed from the space part in bottom at bottom end port 6a of the induction tube 6 to deposit and fill the active material, and the conduction tube 6 is gradually raised until the bottom end 6a coincides with the top end of a tube 10 with a filling work completed. |
