<p>PURPOSE:To obtain evaluation value for approval or rejection of forms permitting easy making of mathematical model for control and capable of controlling the forms accurately, by processing the signals of coefficients of each term of the fourth degree power series expressing the form pattern in the plate breadthwise direction. CONSTITUTION:N pieces of detecting ends 2 from the center 0 to each end in the plate breadthwise direction X detect the elongation rate in each point or tension distribution, and issue form signals. The axis of ordinates of the form signals represents the magnitude of elongation rate y (x), and the position Xi at i-th detecting end is indicated as i/N in an arithmetic unit 5. Regarding this value as an independent variable, the form pattern is assumed as formula 1, and the coefficients of each term are calculated in a recognition part 8 from y (Xi) and the value g (Xi) by th formula according to the method of least squares of the selected points. Further, in a linear transformation part 9, the formula 1 is divided into component formulae 2,3 depending on whether or not symmetrical with respect to the center of plate, and the difference in elongation rate between the center of plate and each end, and the difference in elongation rate between the plate breadth position and center giving extreme values equally to ys, yn are expressed by parameters lambda2' lambda4' lambda1' lambda3 and are calculated by formulae 4,5. These values are compared with the target values recorded in a setting part 11 in an arithmetic unit 10, and the deviation is inputted into an evaluation operating part 12.</p> |
