<p>ELECTROLYSIS APPARATUS An electrolysis apparatus is disclosed which comprises an electrolytic cell, an anode assembly mounted in the cell and consisting of a plurality of insoluble anodes mounted between two copper busbars which are coated with a protective coating to prevent anodic dissolution, a cathode assembly also mounted in the cell, a porous membrane separating the anode assembly from the cathode assembly to form an anolyte chamber and a catholyte chamber, and means for feeding material to be treated into the cell and removing the treated material from the cell.</p> |
