PURPOSE:To instantaneously strengthen ground exerting no troubles on the subsequent digging by use of a cement-water glass-base chemical soln. compounded with a specified inorg. compd. in grouting whereby soft ground is strengthened by injecting a chemical soln. CONSTITUTION:Soft ground is strengthened by use of a composition prepd. by compounding a cement-water glass-base chemical soln. (C) with Ca(OH)2 or a material (A) such as CaO easily convertible into Ca(OH)2 and about 2-100wt%, based on the component (A), alkali metal chloride or sulfate (B) such as NaCl or Na2SO4, in grouting. Said composition, having gelling time <= about 10sec and homogel strength of about 10-20kg/cm<2>, is suitable for use in strengthening, prevention of leakage of water, etc. for a rock bed. |
