PURPOSE:A toothpaste composition having a good feeling of use, a diffusibility in the mouth, and good stability, comprising a hydrons silicic acid having a large particle size and a calcium polishing agent. CONSTITUTION:A composition comprising (A) 1-20wt. %, preferably 5-15wt. %, of a hydrous silicic acid having an average primary particle size of 30-100mmu, prepared through the wet method, and (B) 20-50 wt.% of a calcuim-type polishing agent. The hydrous silicic acid permits a good feeling of use without incorporating large amounts of sweetening agents or ethanol. |
