Skin care composition which is effective in promoting epidermal mitosis and which contains 20 to 40 percent by weight of oil, a non-ionic emulsifier in a quantity greater than 1 per cent by weight, and retinol acetate in a quantity of from 1000 to 15000 IU g <-1>. The composition preferably contains butylated hydroxytoluene or butylated hydroxyanisole as antioxidant. |
