The lighting fitting has fasteners for a lampshade fitted with a simple sliding movement. A wide variety of different lamp shade openings can be accommodated and the lamp shade neck with opening can be designed in many different ways. The arrangement has two moving parts each with two spring arms. One arm contacts the inner face of the lampshade in the region of the shade opening for supporting purposes. The other arm contacts the inner side of the shade opening for supporting and locks the movement of the first arm. The moving parts are made of spring wire. The moving parts are attached to components adjusted by the fastening arm.
